Aquarium Plants Factory

I thought I’d give APF a shot after ordering from a different online seller and not being thrilled with my purchase. Firstly, the selection of APF is phenomenal. I love the user friendliness of the site as well. Being able to filter results for things like CO2 seems like an obvious choice for people browsing but I’ve found many sites are quite lacking in the filter options.
I ordered roughly a dozen plants for my first order. I qualified for free shipping and it was super quick. I received my order within a couple days. The plants were all packed really well and marked clearly with corresponding receipt. The plants were all quite small, but were portrayed accurately on the site so I knew what I’d be receiving. Although the plants were on the small side, the roots and rhizomes were incredible. Very well established, healthy root systems that will easily bounce back from any melt or die back from shipping stress. I’m quite pleased with my purchase and already plan on placing a second order. The plant selection is so great I feel I might need to set up a new aquarium to have room to try all the gorgeous options. (Big plant collector here, aquatic and terrestrial!)

Banana Plant Lily (Nymphoides aquatica)

These plants are so cute, like little bushes of green and pink. New leaves are showing a bronze/red coloration. Not a single dead leaf was found in the plantlings. They arrived with the appearance of image 2 provided on the products page, but with new growth coloration. It has only been two days, but they are not melting. They arrived in gel blocks, which as a researcher, made me happy to see the amount of modern propagation procedures used in these cultures. I cannot wait until they receive their characteristic purple coloration. The packaging was immaculate with a foil covered box and insulation material inside. The plants were packaged inside vacuum seal like plastic bags. I will update this review once they gain their iconic purple coloration.

I purchased the bunched plants that came with a lead weight and foam. Plants came healthy and with viable roots. So far, none have failed. The plants arrived whitish green on the top with some lavender coloration near the bottom, but have now darked and purple coloration has moved to the top of the plants at the bottom of the leaves. They are a bit leggy, but after some more growth I believe a trim will fix this (and you get more plants from propagation). It's interesting how fuzzy they are. Packaging was immaculate. I should have ordered from APF from the beginning instead of being burned by Etsy sellers. Order your plants from APF.

I love this store on eBay just because I have one of my favorite plants. Red cabomba It is the most beautiful plants in the aquarium hobby.

I've ordered aquarium plants from several online stores lately but always end up disappointed. The plants arrive not looking so great. But not this time! The plants from Aquarium Plant Factory arrived in perfect condition, and the two mother plants in particular are absolutely gorgeous and healthy. Thank you so much!

Plants arrived beautiful and healthy

I bought two packs of the bare root plants for a 65g pleco tank and was really surprised how beautiful these are even at such a young stage. The plants I received were about 6-10" tall and a really rich deep olive color. Each pack had about 4 plants and were incredibly healthy - no sliminess or translucent foliage at all! I cannot wait for these to take off in my tank!

I purchased two packs of these for a 35 gallon and let me be the first to say the red on these is simply otherworldly even as plantlets right out of shipping. It took some fussing with the plants to massage the roots apart as best I could before having to snip the truly knotted pieces. I've had them for three days in my tank so far and all of them are going strong with no signs of stress or melt either. Really glad I bought these!

I received this plant not really knowing what to expect from this cultivar and I was really impressed. The plant I received was very healthy and has adapted seamlessly to my tank - its many leaves are each about the size of a nickel and the roots look great! Definitely recommend!
