There are two main types of water lilies, tropical and hardy. The differences between tropical and hardy water lilies are the growing habit. Tropical water lilies don't do well in winter. Hardy water lilies, on the other hand, can tolerate the cold. Tropical water lilies tubers must be removed from the pond and stored in moist conditions to come back in the future years. In warm climates, they can remain in the pond.

    Tropical water lily

The tropical water lily I ordered came in great shape and very quickly and very healthy I just planted it a couple days ago so I could write a new review after it flowers.

First attempt in growing water lily

I ordered on 5/12/20. And received by 5/16/20. A healthy rhizome with leaves and a bud. I seen the video on the website on how to plant it. Opps! I accidentally broke the bud during planting. But all is well. 😉
I check on her daily and it seem she is settling well in her new home. Looking forward to see her bloom.😊
