Tylomelania is a genus of freshwater snails which have an operculum, aquatic gastropod mollusks in the family Pachychilidae. In the aquarium hobby, snails from this genus are commonly known as "Giant Rabbit Snail", "Elephant Snail" or "Sulawesi Snail". A sister group of Tylomelania is genus Pseudopotamis.

They thrive in a well maintained planted aquarium, fast water flow, high oxygen tank with a high GH level. They tend to hide at first, but when they adapt to the aquarium, they will become more active. Make sure to provide high water flow and dark area for them to hide. They are considered as Giant Aquatic Snail since they grow much bigger than the regular aquatic snails. Shells Growth: 0.8-4.7" / 2cm-12cm.

Sulawesi Snails eat invertebrate pellets, flake foods, algae, waste and cooked vegetables such as carrot, zucchini, kale, spinach, or cucumber.

Orange/Yellow Sulawesi Snails are collected from a wild source. Therefore it is very normal for shells to have some defects. Ship in adult sizes,  approx. 1 ~ 2 inches.

Cool Snails

Very unique snails! Great orange color, and such cool faces! These guys are in no hurry to go anywhere fast, but still so fun to watch. All of the snails that I received are slightly different from one another, so it's interesting to already see the different personalities. These guys are all about cleaning the tank already, and seem busy all day. They came very well packaged, and in good health. They took a few days to get comfortable in their tank, but now seem quite content. Very happy with these snails!

Beautiful tank addition!

This snail is extremely curious, and is a delightful addition to the tank! The bag he was in burst during shipping, but the snail seemed perfectly alright! He has a little ding in his shell, but he seems healthy.
