Rotala Nanjenshan

Current Promotion
Rotala sp. "Nanjenshan" is a fine-leaved plant with a very bushy growth habit. It comes from Taiwan, where it has only been found in one single location near the town of Nanjenshan. It is similar to  Rotala wallichii, but unlike the latter, it is of a light green colour, sometimes with reddish shoot tips. Under lots of light, horizontal to overhanging lateral shoots will form.
It was erroneously called "Mayaca sellowiana", although there is no connection with this Mayaca species. It may look a bit like it, but it is not related. The plant grows to a wide bush when the conditions are favorable. The bushy growth habit can be greatly enhanced by trimming. Rotala sp. "Nanjenshan" grows best under relatively strong light and the addition of CO2.

Absolutely love this rotala. I saw MD use it in a scape and had to have it. The bunches I received arrived in immaculate condition with lots of stems in each bunch. I was able to scape my entire 40 long AND give some of each species to a friend with a 9-quantity order from APF. Thank you!

      Already changed to submerged state

Plants were very nice looking. And barely any leaves had fallen off. Already had changed to submerged growth which is really great to see :)

I got more than I expected. They’ve been in the tank about three days and I can already see growth. These are very high quality!
