Myriophyllum Matogrossense is native to the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso, which is located in the Rio Amazonas. It has reddish stems that look like feathers and are 30-60 cm long, as well as finely split bright green leaves (5 cm wide). When there is enough light, the leaves spread out in a fan pattern. Myriophyllum is a beginner aquarium plant that works well as a background plants. It must be trimmed on a regular basis to keep its bushy appearance. It grows quickly and requires a lot of nutrient to grow well.
