It is a submerged, free-floating aquatic plant, with a cosmopolitan distribution, native to all continents except Antarctica. It is a harmful introduced weed in New Zealand.

      Hornwort issue resolved easily

      I received my hornwort and the product was a glob of green muck. It did not hold up in shipping. I notified APF and sent pictures as requested of what I received. Within two days I received a full refund for the Hornwort. I also ordered Anacharis and I received a quality product and very happy with what I received. APF is a reputable company to deal with. Unfortunately, not all products ship well but AFP stands by their policy and as I said, gave me a prompt refund. I will deal with this company for my future plant needs. AFP is a good company to deal with.

      The plants arrived healthy and on time. There was minimal die off but the homework came back strong. It came back so strong that I've already started to thin it out. My fry love it.

      Strong and healthy

      Hornworts arrived safe and have been happily growing all over my small container pond since then. Bought them for oxygen production but fish love them too.

      Outstanding plants

      I raise livebearers and the hornwort from APF are healthy and propagate quickly providing lots of shelter (as well as oxygen production) for fry. Some of the best plants out there. Great product, guys!
