Nymphaea also are known as water lilies. Nymphaea is a genus of hardy and tender aquatic plants in the family Nymphaeaceae. Many species are cultivated as ornamental plants, and many cultivars have been bred. Water lilies are not only decorative but also provide useful shade which helps reduce the growth of algae in ponds and lakes. Many of the water lilies familiar in water gardening are hybrids and cultivars. These cultivars have gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. Water lilies are the most beautiful and elegant water plants that will bring happiness to our family and guest. We are here to provide you the most quality water lilies tubers and aquatic plants that will grow in the right environment.
Nymphaea ‘Colorado’ is a hardy waterlily. Its date of origin is 1994. It is a classic Dr, Kirk Strawn hybrids with salmon colored blooms that are held 3 to 4 inches above the water. The blooms are a soft pink on the outer petals to a soft peach color on the innermost petals. It has 26 to 28 petals on a 3 to 4-inch stellate bloom with a very pleasant fragrance. Pads are a medium green that starts out olive green with faint mottling the disappears over time. The pads are 5 to 7 inch and result in a 3 to 5-foot spread for the plant. It is a prolific bloomer and will bloom late into the season beyond many other hardy waterlilies. Its parentage is Nymphaea ‘Louise Villemarette’ x Nymphaea Mexicana.

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR WATER LILY

There are two main types of water lilies, tropical and hardy. The differences between tropical and hardy water lilies are a growing habit. Tropical water lilies don't do well in winter. Hardy water lilies, on the other hand, can tolerate the cold. Tropical water lilies tubers must be removed from the pond and stored in moist conditions to come back in the future years. In warm climates, they can remain in the pond.

    Beautiful Nymphaea Colorado Water Lilly!

I ordered 3 Nymphaea Colorado water lilly tubers on 5/25, received on 6/2. Tubers arrived healthy with roots and little tiny leaves, I didn't plant them right away because I don't have a pot, soaked them in water for about a week. Planted them early June, they've been doing really well, got the first bloom today, really pretty! Highly recommend this seller.

    Water lilies- well priced, healthy

The plants came quickly and they looked good. I planted them immediately- I hope they grow. This would be an even better review once they get established.

    Very happy

I bought these to start indoors early under grow lights before moving them out to the pond as I'm hoping for blooms the first season. They started putting up leaving immediately and are doing well so far. I wish they came with planting instructions but a quick Google solved that. Very happy considering the very reasonable price.
