Fern Moss ( Thuidium sp.) is an uncommon moss that grows beautifully and has mini triangle-shaped, fern-like leaves. This rare moss requires more attention than other mosses because of the slow growth. For significant growth, good lighting and stronger CO2 levels are essential. 

Fern Moss can be grown submerged in the aquarium or emerge, in a high humid terrarium setup. Although moss does not have roots, it is capable of developing rhizoids that allow it to attach itself to any surface, including rocks, stones, and driftwood.
