Echinodorus Rainbow

Echinodorus Rainbow is also known as Dwarf Rainbow Sword. It is a colorful aquatic plant with variegated, marble leaves. Echinodorus Rainbow is a hybrid of Echinodorus Cordifolius Harbich Red. It stays compact and short in size. Due to its small size, it's perfect for the foreground and mid-ground aquarium. In a smaller aquarium aquascape design, it is easy to become a unique and beautiful focal point. The color of leaves ranges from white, light green, yellow, pink, and red.  Echinodorus Rainbow grows best in the rich soil-based nutrient substrate, good lighting and CO2 injection are key to enhancing their color.

I bought these plants but almost all of them came with ruined leaves. They will definitely recover but I didn't really like them. Bacoba Salzmannii purple had ruined leaf tips, Bacoba Monnieri had almost all yellow leaves and the thing I didn't like most is that the plant is not variegated at all.

The plant that I liked a little more is the echinodorus rainbow which is actually variegated even if that too had ruined leaves but the echinodorus lose the emerged leaves so on this plant I can ask for an eye on the ruined leaves

      Thank you for the extras!

Best part of buying nice healthy plants is getting extras!! Can't wait for them to transform to submersed form! Thanks APF!

      Gorgeous plant!

I have two of these in a 68-gallon tank and they have grown to full size and they are gorgeous! Fantastic coloration. The tank is inhabited with angelfish and Phantom Red tetras and these Swords are a popular breeding location for the angels.
