Echinodorus Martii was also known as Ruffled Amazon Sword or Echinodorus Major. Ruffled Amazon Sword is a beautiful sword plant that provides a very distinct contrast to other members of the genus and is ideal as a background or corner plant in a larger aquarium. The leaves, slightly lighter green than the common Amazon sword and the blade has wavy edges and one or two pairs of lighter-green veins that end above the base of the blade. The leaves generally grow more directly vertical than most of the other species in this genus and thus take up less horizontal space.

Plants arrived on time. Got 2 plants instead of 1. Nice to get swords that were grown submerged. Plants are already pearling in my tank.

It was my first time ordering plants online so I was nervous to see how nice they would actually be. Now I wish I ordered more! They were absolutely beautiful and that's with coming cross country in the winter to the northeast. Will definitely be ordering more!

Bought 3 plants, ended up with much more after that due to separating. All plants were healthy and beautiful and are coming along nicely in the tank.

Amazon Swords

I typically don’t buy plants online because I like to see and choose but I made an exception this time because they had the buy 2 get 1 free special! ALL of the Amazon swords came very healthy! I did not see any brown at all. Its really amazing how they’re able to ship the plants and have them arrive so beautifully. Every one was picture perfect.
