Dwarf Hairgrass 'Mini' - Tissue Culture Cup

Choose Quantity

Eleocharis sp. 'Mini' also known as Dwarf Hairgrass 'Mini'. It's only grown to a height of 3-6 cm, which makes it even smaller than original Eleocharis parvula. If you plant it in small tufts over the entire area to be covered it will soon form a dense, lush lawn thanks to its many runners. It needs good light but is a great choice as a ground-covering plant as it is otherwise undemanding and hardly ever needs trimming.

  • Sold as a Tissue Culture Cup. (cup size: 2.5'' x 2.5'')
  • Pictures are not the actual plants you will receive, but a sample representation.

    Excellent Plants

Ordered 6 of these and they arrived sooner than expected, and in excellent shape. Attempting the DSM method with these, so looking forward to seeing how it goes.

3 Weeks after planting - All is good/No buyers remorse here!

The culture arrived within the allotted 2-5 day shipping window and i didn't have any issues with APF during my transaction. The Dwarf Hairgrass was really green and showed no signs of being unhealthy. This is my first attempt at a planted aquarium and so far everything is going smooth. It has been three weeks since i split up the culture and planted the dwarf hair grass in 1.5 inches of substrate along with a hill of 2.5 inches(had to remove plugs from hill as they weren't getting enough water). I'm using the dry start method because i want a lush green lawn before i flood the tank and it looks like i'm going to get it using just one culture for my 20G long. After three weeks i'm already seeing new grass pop up from the substrate. I'm very happy with my results so far!

    Awesome

This particular culture came in alot better condition than I have received from other dealers. Culture had 11 good size "clumps" and very nice runner. APF is now my go to for any plant need!
