Didiplis Diandra was also known as Peplis Diandra or Water Hedge. They will turn pink, red in color when kept under optimal conditions such as high light and rich based nutrient environment. Under low light, the lower part of the plant tends to rot and die off. Didiplis Diandra is a great aquatic plant to be used in the midground or background areas of the aquarium. Didiplis Diandra doesn't grow as tall as other stem plants and is more easily managed as a midground plant.

I did the buy 2 get one free so I had a lot of stems. All but three have completely turned black. This is in a 75 gallon with a 48 inch fluval 3.0 with a co2 system and regular dosing of seachem flourish. Very disappointing
