It is a cultivated, hybrid variety of Nesaea pedicellata by Florida Aquatic Nurseries.

I ordered a stem bunch from APF. They arrived in great shape. They are starting to grow new shoots in my tank. APF once again impresses me with the health and shipment of their plant stock. A+ overall.

I really like the was APF packs their plants. They roll the bunches with padding so there is no damage and you don't lose 1/2 inch from every stem. I've wondered about Nesaea, it's supposed to be quite hard to grow. I've also read that it's more a pale green (but all on the internet). One of my tanks has more reds and pinks in it and the other more green. The Golden definitely looks much more golden in the green tank.

Ordered two dozen different plants, 95% showed up in great condition and the shipping was very quick. Only issue was that about half of the 50 sags I ordered seemed crushed into green paste (probably in packing) and don't seem to be doing well at all after planting (pretty much disintegrating). Otherwise, am extremely satisfied and would certainly do business here again.
