Hydrocotyle leucocephala is commonly known as Brazilian Pennywort. Hydrocotyle is a popular stem plant that grows quickly along with runners and has vibrantly colorful green leaves. Hydrocotyle leucocephala also has a similar cousin named Hydrocotyle Verticillata. Hydrocotyle leucocephala is very popular in Asia and is considered an edible plant. It can multiply quickly in the aquarium by planting directly in the substrate or as floating plants.

It is also suitable to plant in the garden pond, and indoor house plant if the soil is kept moist at all times. It does not need to be rooted and suitable for floating plants as well.
